Project Round-Up

I love the word art that comes with Becky Higgins Project Life Clementine Kit. I especially love it when it's cut out like this. Such a fun way to display it. To make it I just converted the .jpg file to a cut file with my Silhouette and then cut away. Such a nice feature on the mantle.

When Kitschy Digitals gave me lemons I decided to make a sunshine box for a friend. I think the lemon is the cutest. And I think the hand made candy box is awesome, though admittedly my process could be refined a bit and in the future I'll remember to find some white coated chip board.

Really, such a fun page to make. I need to make more pages. The cloud paper is from Samantha Walker's ABC

I've been taking the Art of Digital Design class taught by Jessica Sprague. It's awesome. And the day Jessica taught us to make patterned papers Samantha Walker loaded a Build-A-Damask Kit. I just had to play with it. So much fun!

Well, that's it. I would love to stay and chat but life is a bit crazy right now. Thanks for stopping by!

Daily Conversations

I asked: What do you guys want for lunch today?
She replied: Eggs!
I said: We don't have enough eggs to have eggs.
She countered: Omelets! Eggs in a nest!
I replied: We don't have enough eggs to make those.
She exclaimed: French toast!

Sheesh! I feel like I'm talking to a three year old! ;)

She Fell In a Hole

The Man took the three oldest ice fishing and they had a ball. The ice on Panguitch Lake is nice and thick and the day was beautiful. As indicated by the brilliant blue sky. The nice thing about heading north for fishing is that Grandpa can be lured into joining the party. This eases my mind a little because it's nice to know there is another adult present in case of emergency.

It just so happens that the girl falls into the category of three oldest, and she has been hounding her daddy for weeks to go ice fishing [I think it started with the arrival of her pink boots with furry trim... didn't see that coming a mile away].  This past weekend the plan fell into place. Finally. As the girl is a bit of a goer and she doesn't pay much attention to her surroundings, it really comes as no surprise that she stepped right into a hole. And she spent the rest of the day inside the tent wrapped up in blankets since she now only had one pink boot with furry trim. The other was filled with water.

ps. This photo might just turn out to be the only decent photo I get of this boy. He seems have developed an aversion to my photo taking habit. I am not okay with this.
