Will You Accept A Collect Call

from Mr. Wehaveababy Itsaboy? Around here we'll be calling him *E* [for distinguishing purposes we'll continue to call the girl, "the girl"]. The surgery went well. The doctor said we'll have to call him, "King Kong." He's big like all of our others. 9 lbs. 14 oz. 21 inches long. Very cute. Not afraid to make some noise. There was a, "true knot" in the cord. The nurses said we're glad he even made it here. We are glad he made it here. I'm good too. Throwing up, but good. I'm sure there will be more photos soon. Say hello to baby Miles.

I'm Currently Working

on items #14 + 27 + 30 on the list. We'll see how it goes. My timing is bad. The baby is coming at noon'ish on the 21st. Yeah, my timing is really bad. I'm still trying to work out the execution kinks in my head. Some of it is very clear. Some of it, not so much. Here's a little peek. It's pieces of a quote from Katherine Center's book Everyone is Beautiful: I'll try to share the process. Wanting to be better at sharing the process. I will tell you this little tidbit: the idea started with this. The concept intrigues me.

2.for.Tuesday

one: I've been running into lots of great digital scrapping templates lately. This one I love for its simplicity and empty space [though admittedly the empty space isn't justified in the layout of my blog. There needs to be some type of end to the white space here for you to really get the feel of it]. Mostly I love the hand drawn quote bubble. So, it's free from Paisley Press. Get it here [among other great free things].
two: The doll. For the most part it's finished. Still missing hair and extra clothing. Whether or not it will have a face is still undecided. Eyes and cheeks I'm thinking, but probably nothing else. But I'm calling it done because I've fizzled on it. As indicated above on the scrap page, she will never give up her, "baby." That's what she calls the bear. She has very little interest in the doll. *A* seems to enjoy tossing the doll around. Maybe once it has hair? I'm not going to hold my breath. I don't know why I thought a mere doll could replace her baby. Even if it was made by mom.
